Born in the heart of Limpopo, UPENYA Cosmetics harness the goodness of nature to nurture skin back to it’s natural balance. OUR FOUNDER
From a farm in the Venda region, Mathilda Mostert, is a girl of the soil. She loves Africa, it’s people and it’s plants. Growing up amongst the Venda people, she learnt to speak Venda fluently. She studied seed oils, earned a doctorate in it, works with indigenous oils every day… and realized it’s potential for skin care. She is passionate, and cannot wait for you to shine.
